GPD has officially announced the MicroPC 2, marking the first significant update to its rugged mini-laptop series in six years. The original MicroPC launched in 2019 and received a minor update in 2021 with a processor upgrade from Intel Celeron N4100 to N4120. Since then, the lineup has remained largely unchanged—until now.

ANBERNIC has released an official teaser video for its upcoming handheld gaming console, the RG Slide. The device takes inspiration from older sliding handhelds like the Sony Xperia Play and PSP Go, combining modern hardware with a retro form factor. The design features a sliding mechanism that conceals the controls beneath the screen, allowing for a more compact appearance when not in use.

At the 2025 Taipei International Computer Show, Colorful presented its new mini PC, the SMATR 900. Built on AMD’s latest “Strix Halo” platform, the compact system is aimed at users who want strong performance in a small form factor. It supports up to an optional Ryzen Max+ 395 processor and can be configured with as much as 96GB of LPDDR5x memory.
