GEEKOM Unveils A5 2027 Mini PC With Ryzen 7 7730U and Three Storage Options

GEEKOM is expanding its mini PC lineup with the new A5 2027, a compact system that combines AMD's eight-core Ryzen 7 7730U processor with support for three separate storage drives. The new machine was announced alongside several other GEEKOM products at IFA 2026, giving the company another option for users who want a small desktop without giving up storage flexibility.

The GEEKOM A5 2027 measures 4.61 × 4.41 × 1.94 inches and uses a unibody all-metal internal frame. Under the hood, the system is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U "Barcelo R" processor and includes two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots for system memory.

Storage is where the A5 2027 gets particularly interesting. The mini PC provides an M.2 2280 slot supporting PCIe Gen3 x4 and SATA III, a second M.2 2242 slot with SATA III support, and a 2.5-inch 7mm SATA III drive bay. This allows users to build a multi-drive configuration rather than being limited to a single SSD.

GEEKOM has also fitted the system with its IceBlast 3.0 cooling solution. The company lists noise levels of 28 dB at no load and 32 dB under heavy load. For networking, the A5 2027 includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 2.5GbE RJ-45 port.

The connectivity selection includes three USB-A 10Gbps ports, two USB-C 10Gbps ports, and another USB-A port running at 480Mbps. There are also two HDMI 2.0 outputs, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an SD card reader. The combination gives the compact PC enough ports for displays, external storage, peripherals, networking, and removable media without relying heavily on adapters.

The A5 2027 was not the only system GEEKOM presented at IFA 2026. The company also showcased the A9 Mega quad-machine cluster, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor with 64GB of memory and a Phison AI SSD. Other products included the IT13 Mega with Intel's Core Ultra X7 358H processor and the GeekBook X16 Pro laptop featuring AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 470.
