Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i Comes with Intel Core i5-12450H CPU and Intel Arc A370M
Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPad Gaming 3i last month at MWC 2022 with 12th Gen Intel Core processors, however the company said shipments of the notebook would not begin until the end of May. The German site of Amazon today revealed the price in Europe of the IdeaPad Gaming 3i notebook for the model with Intel Core i5-12450H CPU and the new Intel Arc A370M GPU.
According to the company, the 15-inch version of this Lenovo notebook will start at 999 euros, however Amazon Germany reports that IdeaPad Gaming 3i with Intel Core i5-12450H CPU and Intel Arc A370M GPU will cost 100 euros more, with an SSD from 512 GB and 16 GB of RAM confirming the fact that this is an entry-level model.
Intel Core i5-12450H is an 8-core processor with 12 threads, a 45W TDP and an integrated UHD Graphics Xe G4 GPU with 48 Execution Units (EU).
Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i will offer a 1440p display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and theoretically the Intel Arc A370M GPU will provide twice the performance compared to the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 GPU found in Alder Lake processors. According to reports, Intel's first listed mobile graphics card is the Intel ARC A370M. Intel says this standalone display will double the performance of the Intel i7-1280P core graphics while keeping the notebook the same size. The standalone display will support Intel's Power Share and Deep Link technologies.
In other words, the Intel A370M should offer similar performance to other dedicated entry-level GPUs such as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti. In comparison, Lenovo will eventually offer the IdeaPad Gaming 3i with a 1440p panel that also has a 165 Hz refresh rate. Theoretically, the Intel A370M will deliver twice the performance of the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7, an integrated GPU found in Alder Lake processors.
