Minisforum Neptune NAD9 MiniPC Launched with Intel Core i9-12900H Processor and Iris Xe Graphics

The Minisforum company has already presented several interesting, miniature computers last year. They mainly used AMD Ryzen 4000 and 5000 series processors - among the units used were both mobile APUs Renoir and Cezanne as well as their desktop counterparts. The company later even presented a computer based on a notebook case. This time it's time for a more classic MiniPC case, but based on a more powerful Intel Alder Lake-H processor.

The Minisforum company introduces to its offer a small computer set Neptune NAD9 MiniPC, based on the 14-core Intel Core i9-12900H processor and the Intel Iris Xe Graphics graphics system. Minisforum Neptune NAD9 MiniPC is a small computer set, equipped with a 14-core and 20-thread Intel Core i9-12900H processor with integrated graphics Intel Iris Xe Graphics (96 EU). There are also two SO-DIMM slots for DDR4 3200 MHz RAM (up to 64 GB) and up to three slots for data storage: one M.2 for SSD PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe and two 2.5" for additional HDD/SSD in The computer has a fairly extensive range of ports, although the absence of Thunderbolt 4 is surprising.

The connectors include three USB 3.2 type C Gen.2 ports (two of which are compatible with the DisplayPort 1.4 protocol), five USB type A ports, two full HDMI 2.0 ports, RJ-45 2.5 Gbit Ethernet network, two 3.5 mm audio-jack sockets and a button for CMOS battery reset. The computer in the set has a special stand that allows you to place the equipment also vertically. A single fan, connected to a heat sink and three heat pipes, is responsible for cooling.

There is also no shortage of support for the latest system in the form of Windows 11 (Home and Pro).
