MOREFINE Launches First Mini PC With Loongson 3A6000: Chinese Chip Maker Loongson Releases Powerful Desktop CPU
Loongson Zhongke, a prominent Chinese independent chip research and development company, has recently unveiled its latest creation, the desktop-level CPU named Loongson 3A6000. Based on its proprietary loongarch instruction set, this chip marks a significant leap in performance and capability. Sporting four 64-bit superscalar processor cores known as LA664 and eight logic cores, the Loongson 3A6000 boasts a maximum frequency of up to 2.5GHz and a typical power consumption of 38W.
Notably, its third-level cache has been expanded to 16MB, and it supports hyper-threading technology, showcasing substantial improvements over its predecessor, the Loongson 3A5000. In terms of connectivity, the MOREFINE M700S offers a plethora of ports, including two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI video interfaces supporting dual-screen 4K 30Hz output, a TYPE-C port supporting 30W PD protocol fast charging and data transmission, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and audio interfaces with a highly sensitive microphone.
Under the hood, the MOREFINE M700S is powered by the Loongson 3A6000 processor coupled with the 7A2000 chip, facilitating seamless daily computing tasks, audio and video processing, and light graphics workloads.
