MSI Releases Cubi N ADL S Mini PC with Intel N Series Processor

MSI (Micro-Star International) has unveiled the Cubi N ADL S Mini PC, an upgraded version of its predecessor, the Cubi N ADL. Sporting an additional "S" in its nomenclature, the latest iteration retains the internal core of its predecessor while introducing passive cooling, marking a significant departure for those who prioritize a quieter computing experience.

The external design remains largely unchanged, featuring a sleek top bevel design with a refined wire drawing process. However, notable enhancements include an expanded heat dissipation grille, hinting at the internal transition to fanless heat dissipation, facilitated by a comprehensive heatsink design. While specific temperature performance metrics have not been disclosed, the shift towards passive cooling is likely to appeal to users seeking efficient heat management without the accompanying noise generated by traditional fan-based systems.

Compact in size, the Cubi N ADL S Mini PC measures 124 x 124 x 53.7 mm, offering a space-saving solution that aligns with the compact form factor trend prevalent in modern computing devices. Its versatile design allows for wall mounting behind monitors, further optimizing desktop space utilization.

Under the hood, the Cubi N ADL S retains the Intel N series processors, with options including the Intel N100 or N200 processors. Like its predecessors, the system supports DDR4 3200 MHz memory, with a single memory slot accommodating up to 16 GB. Storage options include an M.2 2280 SSD, with provisions for expansion via a SATA 2.5-inch HDD/SSD, ensuring flexibility to meet diverse storage needs.

Expansion options abound with the Cubi N ADL S, boasting a robust array of front and rear ports. Front-facing connectivity features dual USB 2.0 ports, while the rear panel hosts dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a full-featured USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. Video output capabilities are enhanced with HDMI 2.1 and DP1.4 ports, offering support for high-resolution displays. Dual LAN mesh connectivity, coupled with integrated Intel AC 3168 or AC 9462 wireless network cards, ensure seamless networking via WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 protocols.

While the pricing details are yet to be announced, it is anticipated that the Cubi N ADL S Mini PC will command a slightly higher price point compared to its fan-cooled counterpart, reflecting the added value of passive cooling technology and enhanced features.

With the release of the Cubi N ADL S Mini PC, MSI continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of consumers, combining performance, efficiency, and silent operation in a compact package. As the demand for silent computing solutions grows, the Cubi N ADL S emerges as a compelling option for users seeking a harmonious blend of power and tranquility in their computing experience.
