ONEXPLAYER Mini The Smallest Portable Handheld Console with an i7-1195G7
The portable console market is clearly on the rise with Nintendo Switch dominating with an iron fist after years of competing against itself. But the stakes are already on the table and as such manufacturers are scrambling to create niche. Proof of this is the latest One-netbook, its ONEXPLAYER Mini , which is smaller than the 1S and integrates the same Intel i7 as its sister. What news does it bring?
Play anywhere and your way, that is currently trying to offer brands and manufacturers along with additions such as the one that integrates Steam Deck and its library. The problem is that the vast majority are looking for the best performance and battery, which has a direct impact on size and weight, but luckily not all require this. For this reason, One-netbook has just presented its smallest console.
ONEXPLAYER Mini, Compact and Powerful
SoC AMD, SoC Intel, at the moment there are no interesting alternatives in ARM for the power that brands are looking for, so everything is limited to the two options of the giants to offer maximum performance. The ONEXPLAYER Mini is certainly a particular console, mainly because it is a trimmed version of the 1S with very few limitations really.
Starting with the inclusion of the Intel Core i7-1195G7 , the CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads at no less than 5 GHz that has a TDP of 28 watts capable of going down to 12W respectively. It can support memory RAM DDR4-3200 or LPDDR4x to 4267 MHz , but above all has a iGPU Xe at 1.4 GHz with 96 EU that supports multiple video outputs: edP 1.4b, MIPI-DSI 2.0, DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0b .
Although the specifications as such of this ONEXPLAYER Mini have not been revealed in their entirety and we only know what the hardware itself can do, the limitations will be fundamental to know in what range the console is. We do know that it will integrate 16 GB of memory, as there will be an option to choose between 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB NVMe respectively, although no specific models or speeds have been discussed.
As for the rest of the specifications of the model, we will find a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels for a fairly contained measurements of 252 x 108 x 23 mm , which will include a 10,455 mAh battery , which is more than good really.
