Thunderobot Introduces MIX NUC Mini PC with Ryzen 7 H 255
Thunderobot has announced the launch of its new-generation MIX NUC mini PC, designed for users who require compact performance for work and entertainment. The new MIX NUC combines AMD’s Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with a solid set of features aimed at enhancing productivity and multitasking in a small form factor.
The chassis of the Thunderobot MIX NUC adopts a compact design with a metal top cover and an integrated logo that glows subtly under light. It features a dawn-like ridge pattern that adds a refined touch to its appearance, while the bottom shell and rear frame are made of durable plastic to maintain a balance between rigidity and weight. Measuring around 128 × 128 × 37 mm (excluding feet) with a total volume of approximately 0.68 liters, the device fits easily on desks or behind monitors, making it suitable for minimal setups and limited spaces.
At its core, the mini PC runs on an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with a maximum boost clock of 4.9GHz and a 24MB intelligent cache. This configuration is paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD for quick responsiveness and fast load times. The system includes two SO-DIMM DDR5 slots that support memory expansion and dual M.2 slots for storage upgrades, giving users flexibility for future enhancements.
The MIX NUC also delivers modern connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 support for faster wireless speeds and Bluetooth 5.3 for reliable peripheral connections. On the cooling side, Thunderobot has equipped the mini PC with a new Y+U-shaped heat pipe structure. This design helps manage thermal output efficiently, supporting up to 7.74 CFM airflow and 5.33 mmH₂O fan pressure, ensuring stable performance during demanding workloads. Under optimal conditions, the system maintains a consistent 65W performance release, with the potential to reach 70W when additional processing power is needed.
Pre-installed with Windows 11, the Thunderobot MIX NUC is positioned as a compact solution for tasks such as video editing, multimedia playback, creative design, and research applications. Despite its small footprint, the PC provides a full range of ports for connectivity. The available interfaces include one USB-C 10Gbps port (without PD power support), two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 output, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, RJ45 Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack, DC power input, and a power button.
With this release, Thunderobot continues to expand its mini PC lineup, offering users a blend of performance, upgradability, and compact design. The MIX NUC aims to deliver efficient computing for professionals, creators, and everyday users looking for a capable system that doesn’t occupy much space.
