Thunderobot KT78 Wired Magnetic Switch Keyboard Launched

Thunderobot has unveiled its new KT78 wired magnetic switch keyboard, designed for users looking for a responsive and highly customizable keyboard. This model introduces a range of features catered towards gaming and productivity, with a strong emphasis on performance and flexibility.

The KT78 incorporates a silver and black color scheme, offering a sleek and modern design. It features built-in RGB lighting, allowing users to customize the lighting effects to match their setup. The keyboard uses a 78% layout, a compact design that still retains the essential functionality of a full-sized keyboard. Despite its smaller form factor, it includes a numeric keypad area, a feature that is often omitted in similarly sized keyboards but remains critical for many users who rely on numerical input.

A macro keypad wheel is positioned on the keyboard, enabling users to program custom functions to streamline their workflow or enhance gaming performance. Through dedicated software, users can program each key, adjusting the keyboard to suit their individual needs and preferences.

In terms of performance, the KT78 is equipped with Hejin’s customized magnetic ink switches, specifically designed to deliver fast response times and durability. The keyboard supports RT fast trigger technology, allowing for rapid actuation, ideal for competitive gaming where quick responses are crucial. The inclusion of an 8KHz report rate ensures that inputs are registered with minimal latency, providing an edge in fast-paced environments.

The KT78 also features PBT keycaps with an original height profile, which enhances durability and provides a more comfortable typing experience compared to traditional ABS keycaps. Another standout feature is the keyboard's full-key hot-swappable capability, enabling users to easily switch out switches without soldering, adding flexibility for those who want to customize the feel of their keyboard. It also supports full-key anti-ghosting, ensuring all key presses are accurately registered even during intense usage.

This combination of performance-driven specifications, customization options, and durable design makes the Thunderobot KT78 an appealing option for gamers and professionals alike.
