Machenike Expands F1 Controller Series With New Black Esports Edition
Machenike has officially announced that it will introduce a black version of its F1 fully customizable wireless game controller. While the new model shares the same design philosophy as the existing white edition, the company says it will deliver an "e-sports performance evolution" thanks to improvements in chip technology. Although detailed specifications have not been revealed, the announcement suggests the upcoming version will focus on faster response times and enhanced gaming performance.

The current white Machenike F1 controller already targets competitive gamers with high-speed connectivity. It supports dual 8,000Hz polling rates and delivers wired end-to-end button latency of just 0.377ms, while joystick latency is rated at 0.825ms. These figures place it among the faster wireless controllers available for players who value quick and consistent input.
The Machenike F1 is designed with customization as one of its biggest features. Its joystick includes a built-in metal adjustment ring, allowing users to fine-tune the stick feel according to their preferences. The controller also uses an optimized limit structure that helps reduce friction and prevents sticking during movement, providing smoother operation during long gaming sessions.
The tool-free microswitch replacement system allows users to swap the D-pad and ABXY button microswitches without needing any special tools. The controller is compatible with standard triangular microswitches from manufacturers such as Kailh, Cynthia, and Omron. It also comes with Machenike's custom optical microswitch, which is rated for up to 100 million button presses for long-lasting durability.
The trigger system is also fully adjustable. Users can select trigger resistance levels of 70gf, 90gf, or 110gf depending on the type of game they play. Lower resistance may be preferred for fast-paced shooters, while higher settings can provide more controlled inputs for racing and action games.
To further improve flexibility, the controller features four programmable rear paddles. These paddles are designed to support multiple grip styles, including four-finger grip, C-hand grip, and six-finger grip. This gives both casual and competitive players additional options when customizing their control layout.
Machenike has not yet confirmed pricing, availability, or the complete hardware specifications for the black F1 controller. More information is expected as the launch approaches, particularly regarding the upgraded chipset and whether it will improve latency beyond the current model. For players looking for a controller with extensive hardware customization and competitive-grade performance, the upcoming black edition could become an interesting addition to the market.
