MINISFORUM AI X1 PRO Gets New 24GB DDR5 + 1TB SSD Model With AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370

MINISFORUM has expanded its AI X1 PRO mini PC lineup by introducing a new configuration equipped with 24GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The latest version retains the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor while offering buyers another memory and storage option. The new model joins the existing AI X1 PRO family, which is aimed at users looking for a compact desktop capable of handling productivity, content creation, AI-assisted applications, and everyday computing tasks.

The AI X1 PRO features a compact chassis measuring 195 × 195 × 47.5 mm and comes with a built-in power supply. Unlike many mini PCs that rely on external power bricks, the integrated design helps reduce cable clutter on the desk while keeping the system compact.

Powering the system is AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, based on the latest Zen 5 architecture. The processor combines high-performance CPU cores, integrated Radeon graphics, and an upgraded AI engine designed to accelerate AI-supported workloads. Combined with 24GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB SSD, the new configuration is suitable for multitasking, office work, media editing, software development, and AI-enabled applications.

MINISFORUM has also focused on upgradeability despite the small form factor. The AI X1 PRO includes dual SO-DIMM slots, allowing users to expand the memory if higher capacity is needed in the future. Storage options are also generous, as the system provides three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. Two of these operate at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds, while the third uses a PCIe 4.0 x1 interface, giving users flexibility to install additional SSDs for larger storage capacity.

Connectivity is another area where the AI X1 PRO offers a wide selection of options. Both the front and rear panels include a USB4 port capable of 40Gbps data transfer speeds, making it suitable for external SSDs, docking stations, and other high-bandwidth devices. On the rear, users will also find dual 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports for high-speed wired networking, along with a PCIe 4.0 x4 OCuLink interface for connecting compatible external storage or expansion devices.

Wireless connectivity is handled by a built-in module supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 standards, providing faster wireless performance and improved compatibility with modern accessories.

MINISFORUM has also added several practical features to the compact system. An SD card reader is located on the side of the chassis for convenient access to camera and media storage cards. The front panel includes two built-in microphone openings for voice input, while the top of the system features a fingerprint reader that allows users to unlock the PC using biometric authentication.

The addition of the new 24GB DDR5 and 1TB SSD model gives buyers another option within the AI X1 PRO lineup without changing the platform itself. Users still get the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, expandable memory and storage, modern networking, USB4 connectivity, and OCuLink support in a compact desktop designed for both work and AI-focused workloads.
