MINISFORUM Launches AI X1 Pro Mini PC Featuring AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Wi-Fi 7 Support
MINISFORUM has officially released its new compact computing device, the AI X1 Pro Mini PC, now available on the market. Designed for high-performance applications in a small form factor, the AI X1 Pro is aimed at users who require robust processing capabilities and modern connectivity options in a space-saving chassis.
At the core of the AI X1 Pro is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. This is AMD’s latest offering in the Ryzen 9 series, tailored to deliver strong multi-core performance suitable for professional workloads. The unit also comes equipped with 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory, offering fast data access and multitasking capabilities. For storage, it includes a 1TB solid-state drive, allowing for quick boot times and efficient file handling.
The AI X1 Pro uses a built-in power supply, which helps maintain a compact and tidy layout. The dimensions of the mini PC are 195 x 195 x 47.5 millimeters. Inside, it features dual SO-DIMM memory slots, allowing for future memory upgrades. Additionally, it houses three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots—two with x4 lanes and one with x1 lane—offering flexibility for expanding storage or adding specialized hardware.
Wireless connectivity is a notable aspect of the AI X1 Pro. It includes a network card that supports Wi-Fi 7, the latest wireless standard, promising faster speeds and lower latency. Bluetooth 5.4 is also supported for improved device pairing and peripheral communication.
On the exterior, MINISFORUM has incorporated a wide range of connectivity ports to accommodate various use cases. There is one USB4 port (40Gbps) located both on the front and back, enabling high-speed data transfers and support for external GPUs or displays. The rear side also includes two 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports, ideal for stable and fast wired network connections. An additional PCIe 4.0 x4 OCuLink port is provided for connecting to high-bandwidth peripherals or storage systems.
The side of the unit features an SD card reader, catering to content creators and media professionals. On the front, there are two microphone holes built in, suitable for video calls and voice recordings without the need for external accessories. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the top of the device, adding a layer of convenience and security for user authentication.
