Minisforum Launches G1 Pro Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX and Nvidia RTX 50 GPU at IFA 2025

At the IFA 2025 conference in Berlin, Minisforum officially revealed the G1 Pro, a compact high-performance mini PC built for gaming and productivity. The system combines AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HX processor with an Nvidia RTX 50 series laptop GPU, which is believed to be the RTX 5070. This pairing places the G1 Pro among the most capable mini PCs showcased at the event.

Hardware Configuration

The G1 Pro supports up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory, giving users flexibility for memory-intensive tasks. For storage, the system includes two M.2 slots with PCIe 4.0 support. The demo unit displayed at IFA came pre-installed with a 2TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus SSD, underlining its potential to handle large storage requirements for games, media, and professional workloads.

Connectivity and Interfaces

In terms of connectivity, the G1 Pro offers HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs, along with a USB Type-C port capable of DisplayPort 2.0 output. A Gigabit Ethernet port ensures stable wired networking, while wireless connections are handled through WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. These options provide compatibility with the latest peripherals and high-speed networks.

Design and Build

The system adopts a vertical slim chassis that enhances space efficiency on a desk. A blue LED light bar runs through the center, giving the device a modern look while maintaining a professional aesthetic. This design approach reflects Minisforum’s ongoing efforts to deliver compact systems that balance style and function.

Availability

Alongside the G1 Pro, Minisforum also presented the MS-S1 Max at IFA 2025. However, the company has not yet confirmed pricing or launch dates for either model. Details regarding availability are expected to be shared in the coming months.
