MINISFORUM Launches X1 Pro Mini PC with Ryzen 7 8845HS and 32GB RAM Configuration
MINISFORUM has introduced a new configuration of its X1 Pro Mini PC series, this time featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor. This latest variant comes pre-installed with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive, offering users a compact yet capable desktop system out of the box.
The Ryzen 7 8845HS is built on AMD’s latest Hawk Point architecture, offering 8 cores and 16 threads, with a base clock of 3.8GHz and a boost frequency of up to 5.1GHz. The processor includes integrated Radeon 780M graphics, suitable for handling everyday workloads and light graphics tasks. The CPU is manufactured on a 4nm process and has a default TDP of 45W, which makes it well-suited for compact systems such as the X1 Pro.
This mini PC supports up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM via two SODIMM slots. Storage expandability is one of its strong points, with support for three M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs, allowing a total capacity of up to 12TB. The system also supports RAID configurations for users who require redundancy or improved performance from their storage.
The X1 Pro supports OCuLink, allowing users to connect an external desktop-class GPU. This expands its capabilities for gaming and GPU-accelerated workloads, offering greater flexibility for both personal and professional applications compared to systems limited to integrated graphics.
The device features a built-in 135W power supply, helping reduce cable clutter and external adapters. For connectivity, the Minisforum X1 Pro includes dual 2.5G Ethernet ports, offering faster network speeds for demanding tasks like media streaming or large file transfers. Display outputs include one HDMI 2.1 port and one DisplayPort 2.0, with support for high refresh rate 4K monitors and beyond. In addition, it offers two USB4 ports, which support high-speed data transfer, power delivery, and video output.
Wireless capabilities include WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring compatibility with the latest networking and peripheral standards. For added convenience and security, the X1 Pro includes a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
