ONE-NETBOOK Expands Handheld Lineup with Intel Xperia G-Based “Apex Air” Device Teased After OnexPlayer 3 Launch
ONE-NETBOOK is expanding its handheld gaming ecosystem following the launch of the OnexPlayer 3 at the end of May. The device, powered by Intel’s Xperia G3 Extreme processor, marks another step in the company’s ongoing push into high-performance portable gaming hardware. Now, attention is shifting toward a second device that has quietly appeared through official Intel materials, suggesting a broader product roadmap built around the same processor family.

An Intel promotional video released on June 2 indirectly confirmed that ONE-NETBOOK is working on another handheld based on the Intel Xperia G platform. While the company has not formally announced full specifications, early information points to a device that may launch under the “Apex Air” branding, a name briefly mentioned in Intel’s own press documentation.
The upcoming handheld appears to follow design cues already seen in ONE-NETBOOK’s X1 series. The controller layout is expected to remain familiar, suggesting the company is focusing on refinement rather than redesign. Alongside this, the device is said to feature a larger display compared to the 8.8-inch panel used on the OnexPlayer 3, potentially targeting users who prefer a more immersive handheld experience for PC gaming and media consumption.
Although details remain limited, the early signals suggest ONE-NETBOOK is building a multi-device lineup around Intel’s new processor platform. This strategy could allow the company to target different user segments, from compact high-performance handhelds to larger, more comfort-focused gaming systems.
Based on current leaks and official hints, the key expected points include:
· Powered by Intel Xperia G processor series
· Potential branding as “Apex Air” handheld
· Controller layout similar to ONE-NETBOOK X1 series
· Larger display than the 8.8-inch OnexPlayer 3
· Positioned as a higher-tier or alternative model in the lineup
· Likely part of a broader Xperia G ecosystem rollout
At this stage, neither Intel nor ONE-NETBOOK has confirmed pricing, specifications, or release timing. However, the appearance of the device in official Intel media suggests that development is already underway and a formal reveal could follow once the OnexPlayer 3 launch cycle settles.
With competition in the Windows handheld gaming market intensifying, ONE-NETBOOK’s continued collaboration with Intel signals a clear push to strengthen its position in the growing portable PC segment.
