Simply NUC has recently launched the Topaz 3 Mini PC, a new addition to their customized version of the Intel NUC series. This mini PC series is expected to make some breakthroughs in terms of performance and affordability. The Topaz 3 Mini PC is equipped with the option of 28W Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processors, which provides users with powerful computing capabilities.

The Simply NUC brand has recently introduced the Topaz 3, which is being marketed as a versatile solution for a range of applications, including home theater, office use, and digital signage kiosks. With a variety of configuration options available, customers can choose a setup that meets their specific needs. For example, the Topaz 3 can be customized with 4GB DDR4 memory and 256GB PCIe SSD storage, or customers can opt for a more powerful configuration with up to 64GB dual-channel memory and up to 10TB of storage. The device includes two M.2 slots, with one supporting PCIe Gen 4 SSD and the other only supporting SATA SSD. Overall, the Topaz 3's flexibility and scalability make it an attractive option for a wide range of customers and use cases.

Customers who desire more customization options for their NUC configuration can opt for a personalized setup that provides additional ports. These extra ports include USB, Ethernet, audio, video, or serial ports, which can be tailored to meet the customer's specific needs. In addition to the custom options, the computer already features a range of built-in ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports that support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0b port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports that use the Intel i225-LM chipset, and a 3.5mm audio port. The computer also comes equipped with an Intel AX210 wireless network card that supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as a 90W power adapter.

If you're in the market for a mini PC, the Simply NUC may be worth considering. One of its notable features is its 3-year warranty, which provides customers with peace of mind. In addition, the company offers pre-installed operating systems such as Ubuntu, Windows 10, and Windows 11. However, if you prefer the latest version of Windows, you'll have to pay extra for the license. Overall, the Simply NUC provides flexibility and convenience for customers who want a reliable mini PC.

The device is priced at US$669 for the i5 version and US$819 for the i7 version, making it an affordable option for those seeking high-performance mini PCs. The Topaz 3 Mini PC is expected to be shipped in April, and Simply NUC also plans to launch a lower-cost model with a Core i3-1315U chip in the near future. These new additions to the Simply NUC Topaz Mini PC series are expected to provide users with more options in terms of performance and affordability.

According to Simply NUC, the Topaz 3 is being dubbed as the first 13th-generation 4x4 NUC that is widely available. However, this claim is not entirely accurate as the ASRock NUCS BOX-1300, which is of similar size to the Topaz 3, was already released in February. It is worth noting that both devices offer impressive specs and features, making them ideal options for those in need of a compact yet powerful computing solution. Nonetheless, potential buyers should take note of the slight difference in release dates and carefully compare the specifications of each device before making a final decision.
