THUNDEROBOT Launches MIX G2 Mini PC with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 GPU
THUNDEROBOT has officially announced the launch of its new MIX G2 dedicated graphics gaming mini PC. The system is designed to deliver high-end gaming and content creation performance in a compact 3.2-liter chassis, making it suitable for users who need strong computing power without the bulk of a traditional desktop.

In terms of design, the MIX G2 measures 332×212×45 mm and carries a refined industrial look. The front panel includes a Penrose triangle power button, a blue LED light strip, and a logo with a light and shadow effect, giving the system a subtle visual presence without excessive styling. Despite its small form factor, the internal layout is built to ensure efficient airflow and component accessibility.
The MIX G2 features Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 275HX processor paired with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU, delivering a combined performance output of up to 230W. This hardware pairing utilizes Intel’s hybrid architecture alongside NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace GPU technology, enabling smooth performance across gaming, rendering, and demanding productivity tasks.
The MIX G2 lineup includes three main configurations. The top variant features the Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. The mid-tier option combines the same CPU with an RTX 5080 GPU and 32GB of memory, while the entry-level version uses the Core Ultra 7 255HX with an RTX 5070 Ti, also paired with 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. This tiered approach allows users to choose based on their performance requirements and budget.
Cooling is handled by THUNDEROBOT’s “Night Owl” thermal system, which uses a combination of an integrated heatsink, a finned heatsink, and dual fans. The system can sustain up to 120W CPU and 175W GPU loads under single-core stress conditions. This ensures stable performance during gaming sessions and heavy rendering workloads, reducing thermal throttling even under extended operation.
On the connectivity side, the MIX G2 provides dual DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 drive bay, and an additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot for storage upgrades. Wireless networking includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, offering reliable and fast connectivity.
The front I/O panel includes two USB 5Gbps ports—one Type-A and one Type-C—along with a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear I/O panel houses an RJ45 Ethernet port, a USB-A 10Gbps port, an HDMI 2.1 output, and a Thunderbolt 5 port, supporting high-speed data transfers and multiple display outputs.
With a balance of size, performance, and expandability, the THUNDEROBOT MIX G2 positions itself as a capable compact gaming PC that caters to both gamers and professionals seeking workstation-grade performance in a smaller footprint. Its hardware combination and design indicate THUNDEROBOT’s focus on efficient thermal performance, strong internal configuration, and modern connectivity, aligning with the growing trend of high-performance mini PCs.
