AYANEO Announces FLIP 1S Series Handhelds With Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, Dual USB4, and OLED Display
AYANEO has officially confirmed that it will hold a live broadcast conference for its upcoming FLIP 1S series of Windows handheld game consoles on July 10. The company also stated that the devices will be available for sale within the same month, marking a swift rollout for its latest lineup.
The FLIP 1S series is built around AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, positioning it among the most capable handheld devices in AYANEO’s portfolio to date. The processor integrates Ryzen AI capabilities, which are designed to support advanced multitasking and optimize power management for portable gaming.
On the hardware side, the FLIP 1S features a unique flip-top design that differentiates it from other models in AYANEO’s handheld range. The device’s B side houses a 7-inch 1080p OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals for gaming and media consumption. The A side is manufactured from CNC-machined all-metal materials, contributing to a premium build quality. The stepless hinge mechanism is intended to provide flexible viewing angles while maintaining durability through repeated use.
For control input, the FLIP 1S adopts a TMR electromagnetic middle joystick, which aims to deliver enhanced precision and a longer lifespan compared to traditional analog sticks. The device also includes dual USB4 ports, expanding options for external accessories, high-speed data transfer, and charging flexibility.
The FLIP 1S series will ship in two distinct configurations designed to cater to different usage scenarios. The DS (Dual Screen) variant includes a secondary 4.5-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio located on the C side of the device. This additional screen can be used for system monitoring, multitasking, or extending the desktop experience. Meanwhile, the KB (Keyboard) model replaces the secondary display with a full-function RGB keyboard, offering improved typing capabilities for users who may use the handheld for productivity alongside gaming.
With its combination of a high-performance Ryzen processor, OLED display, and configurable C-side options, the FLIP 1S is aimed at users seeking a flexible Windows handheld solution. AYANEO’s decision to include dual USB4 interfaces and an electromagnetic joystick reflects its focus on delivering a robust and versatile platform for gaming and general computing.
The live event on July 10 is expected to provide further details on pricing, availability, and regional launch plans. As AYANEO continues to expand its handheld lineup, the FLIP 1S represents the company’s latest effort to merge portability with high-end hardware capabilities in the competitive Windows handheld market.
