AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM01S with Ryzen AI 9 HX370 and Flip Display Opens for Pre-Sale

AYANEO has announced the pre-sale of its new Retro Mini PC AM01S, equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 processor and featuring a front-mounted 4-inch flip secondary screen. The device combines modern hardware with a retro-inspired design, paying tribute to Apple’s Macintosh series from the 1980s.

The AM01S is offered in two finishes, Retro White and Little Yellow Duck. The addition of a CNC-machined aluminum-framed secondary display differentiates it from the earlier AM01 model. The flip screen is a Windows-native extended display that functions independently without requiring an external monitor. Users can manage widgets such as performance data, system clocks, and weather information through the AYASpace software.

Performance and Hardware

The Mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 CPU paired with Radeon 890M integrated graphics built on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. With 16 compute units, the graphics solution provides up to 20% higher performance than its predecessor, making it suitable for 1080p gaming across mainstream AAA and online titles.

The cooling system features a 65W dual-fan design with dual copper heat pipes, expanded fin arrays, and large passive ventilation holes. This ensures stable performance while maintaining thermal efficiency for both CPU and SSD components.

The AM01S supports DDR5 5600 MT/s memory and M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSDs, with official configurations allowing up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.

Connectivity and Expansion

Connectivity options include a USB4 full-power port, dual 2.5G Ethernet ports, and an SDXC card slot. These features expand its usage for photographers, content creators, and NAS storage users seeking compact computing solutions.
