AYN has officially unveiled the specifications of its upcoming Thor dual-screen handheld gaming console lineup. The company confirmed that the series will be available in four models—Lite, Base, Pro, and Max—each offering different hardware configurations and price points. The consoles are scheduled to launch in late October 2025.

The Thor series will be sold in black, white, rainbow, and purple finishes. The Lite variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, supporting video output up to 1080p at 60Hz through HDMI. The Base, Pro, and Max versions use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, capable of 4K at 60Hz output. To ensure consistent performance, all models are equipped with an active cooling system.

Each model features a dual-screen design. The main display is a 6-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 1920, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 650 nits peak brightness, and 152% sRGB color gamut coverage. The secondary screen measures 3.92 inches with a resolution of 1080 × 1240, a 60Hz refresh rate, 550 nits brightness, and 150% sRGB color coverage.

Powering the devices is a 6000mAh battery, paired with a full-function USB Type-C port for charging and connectivity. The consoles include dual joysticks and a button layout similar to Nintendo controllers, while a reinforced hinge design improves durability. A lanyard hole is also integrated into the lower left corner for portability.

The Thor runs on Android 13 with AYN’s custom control software. Players can adjust brightness, monitor temperature and frame rates, and modify performance profiles directly from the secondary screen. The system also includes a split-screen function, allowing users to display game guides or video content alongside gameplay.

AYN has set the following configurations and pricing for the Thor series:

Lite: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – $249

Base: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – $299

Pro: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – $329

Max: 16GB RAM + 1TB storage – $429

With its dual-screen layout, high refresh OLED display, and Snapdragon hardware, the Thor lineup positions itself as a versatile option for handheld gaming enthusiasts ahead of its October release.
