Thunderobot Technology Co., Ltd. has secured NearLink Alliance certification for a new wireless gaming mouse, the Thunderobot ML903 mini Tri-Mode Gaming Mouse , indicating that the product may be close to launch. The certification listing does not reveal technical specifications or images, but the mouse appears to be part of the brand’s expanding portfolio of NearLink-supported devices.

Thunderobot is a known player in the gaming peripheral space, has previously released several mouse models integrated with NearLink technology. These include the ML903 NearLink, ML903 NearLink Dragon Red, ML9 Mini, ML903S, ML9 Mini Extended Range Edition, and ML8. The new ML903 mini Tri-Mode version continues this trend, likely offering both wired and wireless connectivity, with support for Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB-C wired modes.

Although the company has not disclosed the ML903 mini’s technical specifications, products in the same series with NearLink connectivity have shown performance improvements in latency and return rate. For example, the previously launched Thunderobot ML903 NearLink model features wireless latency as low as 250 microseconds and supports a 4000Hz polling rate. Based on this, the ML903 mini Tri-Mode is expected to provide similar responsiveness and low-latency performance, making it suitable for competitive gaming scenarios.

NearLink is a wireless communication standard introduced by Huawei in August 2023. Designed to combine the strengths of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, NearLink aims to deliver low-latency, high-reliability connections across a variety of use cases. These include consumer electronics, smart homes, automotive technology, and industrial applications. Thunderobot’s adoption of this standard reflects a growing trend in the gaming hardware sector to reduce latency and improve wireless stability through next-generation technologies.

At the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2025) held this month in Dongguan, Zeng Guosong, Secretary General of the International NearLink Alliance, highlighted the rapid growth of the NearLink ecosystem. According to Zeng, the alliance now includes over 1,200 members and 54 developer partners, with three authorized innovation labs supporting product development. As of 2024, cumulative chip shipments reached 85 million units, and the alliance expects to surpass 100 million units shipped by the end of 2025. Over 200 products have already adopted the NearLink standard, signaling increasing interest from hardware manufacturers.

With the ML903 mini Tri-Mode mouse now officially certified, Thunderobot is expected to announce its launch soon, potentially adding another competitive model to its NearLink-enabled lineup.
