Abxylute 3D One Handheld Console Launching This Fall With Glasses-Free 3D Display
According to a report from The Verge, Abxylute is preparing to launch its new handheld gaming console, the Abxylute 3D One, in late September or early October. Jointly developed with Intel and Tencent Games, the device will debut at a price of around $1,699, positioning it as one of the most advanced handheld consoles set to enter the market this year.
The Abxylute 3D One is based on the “Sunday Dragon 3D One” prototype shown at CES 2025 by Intel and Tencent Games. The final version integrates a 10.95-inch display with a 2560×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, enabling a glasses-free 3D gaming experience without the need for additional accessories.
From a design standpoint, the handheld continues the detachable controller approach of the prototype but adds refinements such as dual touchpads and magnetic Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, aimed at reducing long-term drift issues. At 1.11 kg, the console also offers kickstand support and the ability to attach a magnetic keyboard, enhancing its versatility for both gaming and productivity.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 258V processor and includes 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. It runs Windows with a 16:10 aspect ratio screen and provides a choice between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. However, official specifications confirm that 3D mode requires 120Hz for proper stereoscopic performance. Power is supplied by a 50Wh battery, designed to handle the high demands of 3D rendering.
The device features a glasses-free 3D display with eye-tracking technology, developed in collaboration with Tencent, Intel, and display maker BOE. Through pre-installed applications, users can add real-time depth effects to 2D photos, videos, and games. The system also offers 3D optimization for 50 popular Steam titles, including Black Myth: Wukong, Naraka: Bladepoint, and Hogwarts Legacy.
With its combination of high-end PC hardware and glasses-free 3D technology, the Abxylute 3D One aims to bring a new category of handheld gaming to market when it launches later this year.
