GMK Launches Barebone Version of G10 Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U
GMK has introduced a new addition to its G10 Mini PC series, a “0+0 no-storage barebone version” that provides users with the flexibility to configure memory and storage on their own. The barebone edition is priced at 799 yuan (approximately $110 USD) and is already available in the Chinese market.
The G10 was originally launched in June this year, powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor. This quad-core chip is designed to balance efficiency with everyday computing needs, making it suitable for compact systems such as mini PCs.
Compact Design with Upgrade Options
The G10 measures 103 × 98 × 42 mm and uses a single turbo fan for cooling, with a rated 35W performance release. While compact in size, the barebone model retains support for key expandability features. It includes two DDR4 SODIMM slots for memory and two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 ×4 slots for solid-state drives. This configuration allows users to install their preferred RAM and storage, offering flexibility for different workloads and budgets.
Connectivity and Interfaces
In terms of connectivity, the G10 provides a comprehensive set of ports. On the front, the system includes two USB-A 10Gbps ports, a headphone jack, and the power button. The rear panel features a Type-C power supply interface, a full-function USB Type-C port, a USB-A 480Mbps port, a 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet port, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, DisplayPort, and a security lock slot. Wireless support is handled by Wi-Fi 5, ensuring compatibility with standard home and office networks.
Market Positioning
With the release of this barebone version, GMK is targeting users who prefer custom upgrades rather than pre-installed memory and storage. This option lowers the entry price of the G10 Mini PC while still providing the same compact build and performance capabilities.
