FLYDIGI Launches APEX 5 Force Feedback Elite Controller with New Features and EVA-Themed Variant

FLYDIGI has officially released its latest high-end gaming controller, the APEX 5 Force Feedback Elite, designed for competitive and immersive gameplay. With a focus on mechanical innovation and customization, the APEX 5 brings several upgrades over previous models, including force feedback triggers, customizable buttons, and a new joystick design. A special EVA co-branded edition has also been introduced alongside the standard version, offering exclusive aesthetics and themed content.

At the core of the APEX 5 is its force feedback trigger system, which delivers dynamic resistance for supported games. This feature enhances tactile response and is currently compatible with over 60 titles, including Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5, and Elden Ring. The force feedback allows players to feel tension and resistance during in-game events such as acceleration, braking, and weapon recoil.

The controller features six extra programmable buttons—four positioned on the rear and two on the shoulders. These can be mapped to a variety of functions, giving players enhanced control and adaptability across multiple game genres. This is particularly useful in competitive shooters or action RPGs, where rapid and customizable input can make a significant difference in gameplay.

The controller is also equipped with a 150-frame full-color display embedded into the body, providing system and mode information at a glance. Complementing the screen is an RGB light strip that runs along the sides of the controller, offering visual effects and lighting customization options.

FLYDIGI also introduces its Force Adjustment Alloy Joystick 2.0 with this model. According to the company, the joystick uses a proprietary force transmission design combined with an alloy bearing structure, which allows players to adjust the stick tension within a range of 30 to 100 grams-force (gf). The joysticks are also designed with a low input latency of 3 milliseconds, which could benefit players in fast-paced titles that require precise control.

The EVA edition of the APEX 5 is built on the same hardware foundation but features a distinctive design inspired by the popular anime franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion. The themed version includes exclusive speaker hardware, matching voice packs, and a unique exterior finish that sets it apart visually from the standard model. There are no functional or performance differences between the EVA and regular editions, making the choice purely aesthetic for fans of the series.

FLYDIGI has not yet announced a global release date or pricing details, but the APEX 5 is expected to target both console and PC gamers who demand advanced features and higher levels of customization in their controllers. The EVA version is likely to be a limited release aimed at collectors and fans of the franchise.

With these additions, FLYDIGI continues to expand its lineup of premium gaming peripherals, focusing on enhanced immersion, user control, and personalization.
