Industrial computer manufacturer OnLogic has unveiled the ML100G-42, a compact and robust NUC designed to meet the demands of edge IoT computing. This mini PC, set to be officially launched soon, stands out with its reliance on the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor and its fanless passive cooling design, catering to industrial-grade requirements.
Specifications and Processor Details
At the heart of the ML100G-42 is the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, part of the "Hawk Point" family. This processor features an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 4 CPU, integrated Radeon 780M GPU, and a 16 TOPS NPU for acceleration of specific computing tasks. The processor's thermal design power (TDP) is 28W by default but can be configured to as low as 15W for optimized energy efficiency.

The ML100G-42 measures 142×107×61.5 mm, emphasizing a compact form factor suitable for space-constrained environments. Its aluminum chassis features a shovel-tooth fin design to enhance heat dissipation without requiring active cooling, making it highly durable for industrial environments.
