VAXEE Launches NP-01 Ergo Wireless Gaming Mouse With 42K DPI Sensor and 8KHz Polling

VAXEE has announced the NP-01 Ergo Wireless, a new gaming mouse built for players who prefer a larger ergonomic shape with extra palm support. The latest addition to the company's gaming peripheral lineup is designed for users who naturally hold the mouse with a slightly angled grip while maintaining comfort during long gaming sessions. Alongside its updated shape, the mouse introduces VAXEE's latest Core1 optical sensor, improved wireless technology, and support for an 8,000Hz polling rate.

The NP-01 Ergo Wireless focuses on combining comfort with competitive gaming features. Its ergonomic shell is intended for gamers who find smaller or symmetrical mice less comfortable, especially during extended play. The fuller rear section offers additional support for the palm, making it suitable for users who prefer a more relaxed grip without compromising control.

VAXEE Core1 Sensor and Adjustable Performance Settings

The mouse is powered by the new VAXEE Core1 optical sensor, which supports sensitivity settings of up to 42,000 DPI (CPI). VAXEE says the sensor is designed to deliver accurate tracking and responsive cursor movement across different gaming genres.

Users can also adjust several performance settings directly on the mouse, allowing it to better match individual preferences.

The lift-off distance adjustment allows players to fine-tune tracking when lifting and repositioning the mouse, while the selectable button response speeds provide flexibility for those who prefer different click characteristics.

Third-Generation Core Link Wireless Improves Stability

The NP-01 Ergo Wireless also introduces VAXEE's third-generation Core Link wireless technology. According to the company, the updated wireless system is designed to improve resistance to signal interference, helping maintain a stable connection even in environments where several wireless devices are operating at the same time.

Support for polling rates of up to 8,000Hz enables the mouse to send position updates much more frequently than traditional 1,000Hz gaming mice. On compatible hardware, this can reduce input latency and provide faster cursor updates, which may benefit competitive players in fast-paced games.

Battery life depends on the selected polling rate. When used in the standard 1,000Hz mode, the mouse is rated for up to 98 hours of wireless operation on a full charge. Enabling the 8,000Hz polling mode reduces battery life to approximately 23 hours, reflecting the higher power requirements needed to sustain the increased reporting rate.

Price and Availability

The VAXEE NP-01 Ergo Wireless is priced at RMB 1,190 in China and $149.99 in North America. With its larger ergonomic design, high-resolution optical sensor, customizable performance settings, and high-speed wireless connectivity, the new model expands VAXEE's lineup for gamers looking for a wireless mouse that balances comfort with competitive-level performance.
