AOOSTAR GODY Mini Gaming Console Debuts with Ryzen 9 7940HX and Radeon RX 7600 XT

AOOSTAR has officially launched the GODY mini gaming console, a compact desktop system designed to deliver dedicated graphics performance in a 3.1-liter form factor. The new device pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX processor with a Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card, targeting users who want a small footprint without compromising on GPU capability.

The Radeon RX 7600 XT included in the GODY is a desktop-class GPU, though with some modifications. The retail version of the RX 7600 XT supports up to 16GB of memory, while AOOSTAR’s model is configured with 8GB. The GPU retains its 2755 MHz boost clock but operates at a reduced power draw of 150W compared to the standard 190W, ensuring better compatibility with the compact cooling solution.

To maintain stable performance, the GODY adopts AOOSTAR’s Glacier E-Sports 4.0 cooling system. This setup features a full-coverage heat spreader, dual turbo fans, and a fin array, improving on the Glacier E-Sports 3.0 used in earlier models that relied on dual general flow fans.

The system measures 200 × 80 × 193 mm, offering two DDR5-5200 SODIMM slots and dual M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 ×4 NVMe drive slots for storage. Despite its size, the mini console provides a wide range of connectivity options. On the front, users will find a power button, one USB-C (5 Gbps), one USB-A (5 Gbps), and two audio jacks. The rear panel includes one HDMI, one DisplayPort, one full-function USB-C (5 Gbps), two USB-A (10 Gbps), two USB-A (5 Gbps), dual 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, an audio jack, and a DC-in aviation power connector.

The AOOSTAR GODY Mini PC will be available for purchase starting August 4. The barebone version, which includes a Wi-Fi 7 network card, is priced at 4999 yuan (around USD $690).
