AOOSTAR Launches XG76XT External GPU with Built-in AMD Radeon RX 7600XT
AOOSTAR has officially launched its new XG76XT external graphics card (eGPU), targeting users who need additional GPU performance for laptops and compact systems. The XG76XT integrates an AMD Radeon RX 7600XT graphics card, providing desktop-level graphics performance in a portable enclosure.
The design of the XG76XT follows an e-sports-inspired aesthetic. The chassis features a honeycomb-shaped ventilation mesh on the top surface, which improves airflow and aids in maintaining optimal thermal performance during high workloads. Inside, AOOSTAR has implemented a vapor chamber (VC) heat spreader paired with a pure copper heat sink and an active cooling fan. This thermal setup allows the eGPU to handle power consumption up to 150W, ensuring stable performance for gaming and compute-intensive applications.
In terms of connectivity, the XG76XT offers several modern interfaces to meet different user scenarios. It supports USB4 and OCulink connections, allowing high-speed data transfer between the eGPU and host devices. For display output, the unit includes one HDMI 2.1 port and two DisplayPort 2.1 interfaces, providing flexibility for multi-monitor setups and high-resolution displays. Additionally, a USB-C port with 15W power delivery is available for charging or connecting peripheral devices.
The choice of AMD’s RX 7600XT as the integrated GPU positions the XG76XT as a capable option for mainstream gaming and content creation tasks. The RX 7600XT supports the latest graphics technologies, including ray tracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), offering improved visual quality and performance scaling. When combined with the high-speed data transfer provided by USB4 and OCulink, the XG76XT aims to minimize the performance gap often seen between eGPUs and desktop GPUs.
AOOSTAR has yet to announce global availability and pricing details for the XG76XT. However, the device is expected to appeal to professionals, gamers, and creatives who rely on thin-and-light laptops but require stronger GPU performance for certain workloads. The inclusion of a built-in GPU removes the need for separate GPU installation, simplifying setup for users new to external graphics solutions.
With increasing demand for portable and flexible GPU solutions, the XG76XT could become a competitive option in the growing eGPU market segment.
