GMKTec has officially launched its latest compact computing solution, the K12 Mini PC. Aimed at users looking for a balance between performance and size, the K12 is built around AMD's Ryzen 7 H 255 processor and supports a range of hardware configurations to cater to different needs.

The K12 features a modern chassis design that follows the aesthetic principles of GMKTec's EVO series, incorporating a floating-style body with a top-mounted RGB lighting strip. The compact form factor makes it suitable for various spaces, including home offices, media setups, and workstations where desk space is limited.

The K12 features an AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, offering solid performance for multitasking and demanding applications. It supports up to 32GB of DDR5 memory at 5600MT/s, which helps boost system responsiveness and data processing speeds. Storage options include up to a 1TB PCIe SSD, providing quick boot times and fast file access.

To manage heat, the system includes dual cooling fans and a vapor chamber heat spreader. GMKTec claims the setup can handle a 70W thermal design power, enabling sustained performance under load without thermal throttling.

Connectivity is a key focus of the K12. On the front panel, the unit provides one USB-A 2.0 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a full-function USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear I/O adds even more versatility with an HDMI port, a USB4 port, a DP (DisplayPort), an OCulink port for high-speed external GPU or storage expansion, an additional USB-A 3.2 and USB-A 2.0 port, another 3.5mm audio jack, and two 2.5G Ethernet ports for fast wired networking.

With support for multiple displays and extensive I/O options, the K12 offers flexibility for both productivity and media use. The combination of modern processing power, fast memory, and high-speed networking positions the device as a practical choice for users needing a small-form-factor PC that doesn't compromise on essential features.

GMKTec has not yet released pricing or global availability details, but the product is expected to roll out in stages depending on the region.
