The pre-sale for G1 and WIN 4 (2023) will commence on July 17th at 10:00 and will last for a duration of 30 days. During this period, customers will have the opportunity to place their pre-orders, and the final payment will be made at the end of the pre-sale period.

Among the available configurations, the 7840U (black) + 32GB + 512GB and 7840U (white) + 64GB + 4TB options are exclusively available for pre-sale and will not be available at retail. However, due to popular demand from users, the 7840U (black) + 64GB + 4TB configuration will be reserved for retail as well. It's important to note that there will be no coupons available for the pre-sale, and the retail price will be $100 to $150 higher than the pre-sale price.

In terms of accessories, the GPD G1 will come standard with a USB4 cable in both the pre-sale and retail versions. However, there is an optional package available for GPD G1, which includes the GPD G1 + Oculink SFF-8611 cable. If you don't have a device with an Oculink SFF-8612 interface or don't plan to connect such devices using the Oculink cable, there's no need to purchase this package.

Customers who choose to order the GPD G1 + Oculink SFF-8611 cable package will receive a complimentary M.2 2230 to Oculink 8612 adapter card. This adapter card is shown below and is included as a free bonus with the package. It's worth noting that there will be no coupons available for G1, and the retail price for this product will be 4399 yuan.

Both the cable and the adapter card are officially customized and guarantee compatibility when connecting to third-party equipment. However, third-party cables and adapter cards may have compatibility issues. Additionally, apart from the M.2 interface adapter available for G1 at the bottom of WIN Max 2 (6800U) and WIN Max 2 (2023), the riser card can also be used for M.2 transfer on desktop motherboards (E-ATX, ATX, M-ATX, ITX).
