Hexgears has announced its latest mechanical keyboard, the Immersion A3, marking a significant step forward in the world of low-profile mechanical keyboards. This new release incorporates cutting-edge features, including a dial button and a screen, alongside its short key travel and high trigger design. This keyboard offers a unique blend of functionality and aesthetics, making it a compelling choice for both gaming enthusiasts and productivity-focused users.

The Immersion A3 is Hexgears’ first foray into combining a low-profile keyboard with a dial and screen. It features Kailh’s latest low-profile switch series, known for their precision and responsiveness. With an 87-key layout, the keyboard’s surface is finished with brushed anodization and boasts an integrated floating design. The CNC aluminum alloy top cover and positioning plate are seamlessly merged, contributing to the keyboard’s sleek profile with a body thickness of less than 16mm and a weight of just 762 grams.

The Immersion A3 includes a built-in 1.14-inch TFT color screen, positioned on the keyboard's right side. This screen boasts a resolution of 135x240, enabling users to effortlessly switch lighting effects and system languages by turning the nearby scroll wheel. This feature enhances the user experience by offering both functionality and style.

The mechanical keyboard comes equipped with Kailh's custom-made linear low-profile switches, specifically the Rain White switch and the Chip Swivel switch. The Rain White switch is part of Kailh’s new full POM series, featuring a torsion spring-sounding structure, a 15.5mm single-stage spring, and a round floating center bottoming. The Chip Swivel, another low-profile favorite, offers a linear input with short key travel and a gentle, responsive bottoming.

In addition to these technical features, the Immersion A3 includes eight multimedia buttons arranged in an independent row, facilitating multiple functions such as lighting control, Bluetooth connectivity, and quick MAC/WIN system switching. This keyboard supports three connection modes: wired, wireless 2.4G, and Bluetooth, and can connect with up to five devices simultaneously.

Powered by a 5800mAh battery, the Immersion A3 promises an impressive battery life. According to Hexgears, it can operate continuously for 120 hours with the lights off and up to 38 hours with the lights on, based on laboratory test data. It also supports DIY hot-swapping, custom drivers, 20 preset RGB lighting effects, and music rhythm synchronization.

In terms of design details, the Immersion A3 features specially designed keycap characters with translucent icons for function keys, adding to its sleek and modern aesthetic.

With its robust feature set, sleek design, and cutting-edge technology, the Hexgears Immersion A3 is poised to set new standards in the mechanical keyboard market. Whether for gaming or professional use, this keyboard offers a unique blend of form and function, appealing to a wide range of users.
