At its latest product event, OneXPlayer introduced two new devices designed to expand its gaming lineup — the X1 Air handheld gaming PC and the OneXGPU Lite external GPU enclosure. The X1 Air is a versatile portable gaming device with multiple form factors, while the OneXGPU Lite offers external graphics support in a smaller enclosure compared to earlier models.

The X1 Air will be available in three main configurations:

Intel Core Ultra 5-228V, 32GB RAM + 512GB SSD – 6,899 RMB (~$950)

Intel Core Ultra 7-258V, 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD – 7,999 RMB (~$1,100)

Intel Core Ultra 7-258V, 32GB RAM + 2TB SSD – 8,599 RMB (~$1,200)

Display and Design

The handheld features a 10.95-inch TCL Huaxing OLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600, 120Hz refresh rate, and 540 nits peak brightness. OneXPlayer has designed the system with detachable controllers, allowing users to play in handheld mode, connect to an external keyboard and mouse for a tablet-style setup, or dock the device for use as a compact desktop system.

Hardware Specifications

The X1 Air can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, offering four performance cores that boost up to 4.8GHz. It comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory clocked at 8533MHz and introduces a new Mini SSD expansion solution, providing an easier way to upgrade storage.

For thermal management, the handheld uses a dual-fan and dual copper tube cooling system with liquid bearing fans. This setup supports a 30W performance power limit, helping maintain consistent performance during demanding workloads. The device is powered by a 72.77Wh battery, aimed at balancing mobility with extended gaming sessions.

OneXGPU Lite External GPU

Alongside the handheld, OneXPlayer also announced the OneXGPU Lite, a compact eGPU enclosure. While full specifications have not yet been detailed, the device is intended to expand graphics capabilities for the X1 Air and other supported systems, offering flexibility for users who need desktop-level GPU performance.

Availability

The OneXPlayer X1 Air is expected to begin shipping in China first, with global availability details likely to follow. The OneXGPU Lite will be introduced alongside it, giving users more options for performance expansion in portable and desktop modes.
