OneXPlayer X1 Pro x Unit-02 Asuka Edition Now Available at MiniXPC

OneXPlayer has announced a new special edition of its flagship handheld PC—the X1 Pro x Unit-02 Asuka Edition. This release combines high-end gaming hardware with a bold anime-inspired design based on Evangelion’s Unit-02, offering fans of the series and portable gaming enthusiasts something unique in both form and function.

Available now via MiniXPC for $1,649.99, this limited edition comes bundled with a set of premium accessories at no additional cost. Buyers will receive a magnetic keyboard, gaming controller, backplate stand, and a pre-installed screen protector as part of the package.

Performance and Specifications

The X1 Pro x Unit-02 Asuka Edition is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 255H processor. Built on the Meteor Lake architecture, the CPU features 16 cores and a boost clock of up to 5.1GHz, making it capable of handling modern PC games, multitasking, and content creation workloads.

Paired with 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD, the device offers fast load times, smooth performance, and ample storage. The display is a 10.95-inch LTPS panel with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing detailed visuals and responsive input for gaming on the go.

Design and Build Quality

This version of the X1 Pro features a red and orange color scheme inspired by Evangelion’s Unit-02 and its pilot, Asuka Langley Soryu. The chassis is built from CNC-machined aviation-grade aluminum alloy, offering a lightweight yet sturdy frame. RGB lighting effects are integrated into the design to mimic the aesthetics of the EVA cockpit, creating a distinctive visual identity.

Multi-Mode Functionality

The X1 Pro supports three different usage modes:

l Handheld Mode: Built-in side controllers make it easy to use the device like a traditional handheld console.

l Tablet Mode: The controllers are detachable, allowing the device to function as a standalone Windows tablet.

l Laptop Mode: With the magnetic keyboard and a mouse, users can switch to a full productivity setup, similar to a compact notebook.

This flexibility allows the X1 Pro to cater to a wide range of use cases, from gaming to work, making it suitable for users who need power and portability in one package.

Only a limited quantity of the Unit-02 Asuka Edition is available, and according to the seller, shipping will begin between the 15th and 30th of this month. Interested buyers are encouraged to place their orders soon due to the limited stock.
