Vivo Pad is Announced with 11-inch Tablet and 44W Charging

 Vivo's latest tablet screen adopts an 11-inch IPS LCD panel with a QHD Plus resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. At the top, there is an 8 MP selfie camera equipped with a ToF ( Time-of-Flight ) sensor to measure or detect objects in front of it in three dimensions (3D). Meanwhile on the back there are two ultrawide cameras , each with a resolution of 13 MP and 8 MP. Just like most tablets, the Vivo tablet which has a thickness of 6.5 mm and a weight of 489 grams also supports a number of accessories such as a keyboard and stylus to support user productivity.

 

Its processor is from Qualcomm, specifically the Snapdragon 870 that we have already seen in other tablets and that offers great results, worthy of the high-end, but without reaching the extreme of other more recent processors. An 8-core ARM with Adreno 650 GPU which should be enough for this tablet. It includes 8 Gbytes of RAM and storage options of 128 and 256 Gbytes. Turning to the power aspect, the battery of this Vivo Pad tablet has a fairly large capacity, which is 8,040 mAh with support for fast charging of 44 watts.

 

One of the main features of the tablet lies in its operating system. Based on Android 11, OriginOS HD aims to offer a more complete ecosystem experience. Using a branded smartphone, users can receive calls on the tablet itself, control the cell phone through the larger screen, easily transfer files and photos thanks to the integrated NFC, in addition to splitting the screen in two for the use of up to 3 applications (one floating). Vivo Mobile also highlights the use of accessories, such as the stylus pen with 4,096 levels of pressure and battery for a full year of use, and the keyboard with integrated trackpad, offering more natural writing and typing options for those who want to study, draw and work.

Price and Availability

The vivo Pad goes on pre-order in China today and will be available from the 15th (Friday). The base 8/128 GB version cost CNY 2,500 ($390/€360/₹29,800), an 8/256 GB unit will go for CNY 3,000 ($470/€435/₹35,700). Well, not quite, the slate will be slightly discounted at launch so the two versions will cost CNY 2,300 and CNY 2,900, respectively.
