ACEMAGIC Launches Starship M2A With Core i9-12900H, RTX 3070 for $778
ACEMAGIC has introduced a new configuration of its Starship M2A gaming mini PC, combining Intel's Core i9-12900H processor with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU advertised with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The compact system also features a four-fan cooling solution, seven copper heat pipes, and a built-in display for monitoring hardware temperatures and system performance. With a starting price of 5,199 yuan (approximately $778), the Starship M2A is aimed at users looking for dedicated graphics performance in a smaller desktop system.

The Starship M2A is powered by Intel's Core i9-12900H, a 12th-generation mobile processor featuring 14 cores and 20 threads. Its configuration includes six performance cores and eight efficiency cores, with boost frequencies reaching up to 5.0GHz and 24MB of L3 cache. ACEMAGIC pairs the processor with 16GB of system memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD.
Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 5,120 CUDA cores and a stated maximum power limit of 115W. ACEMAGIC lists the graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, which is unusual because NVIDIA's standard RTX 3070 Laptop GPU specification comes with 8GB. The company has not provided further details explaining this difference, so the advertised memory capacity deserves clarification. The GPU also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex.
Cooling is particularly important in a compact gaming system that combines a high-performance mobile processor with a dedicated graphics card. ACEMAGIC uses its proprietary 4D cooling system, featuring four large-diameter fans and seven copper heat pipes. The company claims the design can improve thermal performance by up to 45% compared with conventional cooling solutions. The system is designed to handle the processor's 45W power rating alongside the GPU's 115W power limit.
The chassis also includes a 1.9-inch secondary display on the front panel. It can show system information such as CPU and GPU temperatures, power consumption, utilization, and fan speeds, allowing users to monitor the hardware without opening additional software.
For memory and storage expansion, the Starship M2A includes two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD slots. ACEMAGIC lists support for up to 4TB of storage, giving users room to add additional drives beyond the preinstalled 1TB SSD.
Connectivity includes a USB4 Type-C port with support for up to 8K resolution at 60Hz, two HDMI 2.0 ports supporting 4K at 60Hz, and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection rated for 8K at 60Hz. The system can drive up to four displays simultaneously. It also features dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and six USB 3.2 ports.
ACEMAGIC has priced the Starship M2A at 5,199 yuan in China, equivalent to approximately $778 USD. The listed configuration includes 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. International pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed.
