MACHENIKE Launches G5 Pro V3 With Hall Effect Triggers and Four Rear Buttons
MACHENIKE's latest gaming controller brings force-adjustable TMR joysticks, Hall effect triggers, and six additional controls to the budget gamepad market, with prices starting at just $29.79 in China. The new G5 Pro V3 is designed for players who want more control over joystick resistance and trigger response without spending much on a premium controller. It also comes with a higher-end bundle that adds RGB lighting, a trigger motor, and a dedicated charging dock.
The MACHENIKE G5 Pro V3 uses force-adjustable TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) joystick sensors, which rely on magnetic field detection rather than traditional contact-based potentiometers. This design eliminates the mechanical contact associated with conventional joystick sensors and allows for more consistent input tracking. The adjustable resistance gives players the option to change how the analog sticks feel during gameplay, depending on their preferences.
The controller also features a dual-mode trigger system that combines micro-switches with Hall effect sensors. This gives users different trigger input options, while the main function buttons rely on mechanical switches. The ABXY buttons use third-generation light-force micro-switches, which MACHENIKE says are designed to provide responsive inputs with less actuation force.
For players who need additional controls, the G5 Pro V3 includes two extra shoulder buttons and four programmable rear buttons. These can be assigned to frequently used in-game commands, allowing players to perform actions without taking their thumbs off the analog sticks. The D-pad also supports 360-degree omnidirectional input, providing directional control across different angles.
MACHENIKE has equipped the controller with an H-bridge emergency stop asymmetric rotor grip motor for vibration feedback. It also includes a built-in 1,200mAh battery, although the company has not disclosed its expected battery life or detailed charging specifications.
The G5 Pro V3 is available in two configurations with different exterior designs and accessories. The standard model features a semi-transparent shell and comes in black and white color options. The higher-end bundle is available in black/gold and white/gold finishes, adding RGB dot-matrix starlight lighting effects, a trigger motor, and a dedicated charging dock.
Pricing starts at 199 yuan for the standalone MACHENIKE G5 Pro V3, which converts to approximately $29.79 USD. The more expensive bundle costs 269 yuan, equivalent to around $40.26 USD. These are approximate direct currency conversions and do not include international shipping, taxes, or import duties.
The MACHENIKE G5 Pro V3 is currently listed for the Chinese market, with international pricing and availability yet to be confirmed. With force-adjustable TMR joysticks, Hall effect triggers, mechanical ABXY buttons, and four rear controls, the controller offers a combination of features aimed at players looking for additional customization at a relatively low price.
