GEEKOM Launches 2025 A5 Mini PC with Ryzen 5 7430U, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD for $399
GEEKOM has officially released its latest compact desktop offering, the 2025 A5 Mini PC. Positioned as an affordable and space-saving computing solution, the A5 features a combination of AMD’s Ryzen 5 7430U processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, and a 512GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD. The device is now available at a retail price of $399.
The A5 Mini PC follows the standard form factor seen in many compact systems, with a square chassis design. Its dimensions are 117mm x 112mm x 49.2mm, and it weighs 652 grams. The exterior features a minimalist look aimed at users seeking a small-footprint desktop for general computing, home office, or media usage.
At the core of the A5 is AMD’s Ryzen 5 7430U, a 7nm processor from the Barcelo Refresh lineup. It offers 8 cores and 16 threads, delivering multi-threaded performance suitable for multitasking and moderately demanding applications. Paired with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory, the system targets users who need a reliable machine for everyday productivity, web browsing, media playback, and light content creation.
Storage is handled by a 512GB PCIe Gen 3 SSD, which should provide fast boot times and quick file access for typical workloads. While it doesn't feature the newer Gen 4 interface, the included SSD remains adequate for general use and is upgradable thanks to standard M.2 support.
