Rapoo has officially launched the VT3S Dual-Speed Series gaming mice, offering two different models aimed at gamers who prefer lightweight, high-performance peripherals. The new series includes the VT3S Standard Edition and the VT3S Max, each featuring different sensors and targeted refinements.

Designed with ergonomics in mind, the VT3S series is built for users with small to medium hand sizes. Both versions share a symmetrical shape and weigh just 49 grams, making them some of the lightest mice in Rapoo's current lineup. The lightweight design is particularly suited for players who prefer faster movements in competitive gaming scenarios.

The key difference between the two models lies in the optical sensors. The VT3S Standard Edition is equipped with the Original 3398 sensor, while the VT3S Max model features the higher-end Original 3950 Ultimate sensor. The 3950 Ultimate was developed in collaboration between Rapoo and PixArt, and it supports finer adjustment and precision tracking. Both sensors aim to deliver accurate input for demanding gameplay but are tailored to slightly different performance expectations.

In terms of customization, both models support Lift-Off Distance (LOD) adjustment across 11 levels. The Standard model allows for adjustments between 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm, while the Max model offers slightly lower values, adjustable between 0.7 mm and 1.7 mm. This gives users the ability to fine-tune the mouse's sensor behavior depending on their surface and preference.

The VT3S series features the Nordic 54 series wireless master control chip, which enables low-latency wireless performance while optimizing power efficiency. Both models come equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, offering up to 500 hours of use on a single charge. This extended battery life makes the VT3S series well-suited for long gaming sessions without the need for frequent recharging.

The VT3S Max edition also comes with a skin-like coating, offering a smoother texture and potentially improved grip during long periods of use. The coating may also help reduce discomfort caused by sweat buildup during intense gameplay.

The VT3S series maintains a minimalist exterior, avoiding excessive branding or decorative RGB lighting, which may appeal to players looking for a straightforward, performance-oriented device.

Rapoo has not yet announced international availability or pricing, but the VT3S Dual-Speed Series is expected to be positioned in the mid-range segment, with the Max edition likely commanding a slightly higher price due to its upgraded sensor and additional features.

With the VT3S series, Rapoo continues to focus on offering functionally optimized gaming peripherals in a market that increasingly values both performance and weight reduction.
