At the core of the system is the AMD Ryzen 7 H255 processor, an 8-core, 16-thread chip based on the Zen 4 architecture. The CPU is paired with Radeon 780M integrated graphics built on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. GMKtec states that the GPU offers performance comparable to an NVIDIA RTX 2060, making it capable of handling modern games at moderate settings as well as creative workloads such as video editing and 3D rendering. This combination makes the NucBox K12 a versatile option for users who need both processing and graphics performance in a compact chassis.

The NucBox K12 supports up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 memory, providing headroom for professional workloads and multitasking. Storage expansion is also a strong focus, with capacity of up to 24 TB total. The system includes two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x2 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, allowing users to install multiple high-speed NVMe drives. Additionally, the device is equipped with an OcuLink port, enabling external GPU support for users who want to add more powerful graphics cards such as the NVIDIA RTX 4060.

Display connectivity is extensive, with support for up to four monitors simultaneously at resolutions as high as 8K 120 Hz. The available outputs include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB4, and USB Type-C, giving flexibility for various professional and gaming setups. To keep performance consistent, the system uses a VC vapor chamber cooling solution combined with a dual-fan Arctic Ocean system, rated for up to 70 W cooling capacity.

Networking and connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual 2.5G LAN ports. These features ensure strong wireless and wired performance for both home and office environments.

To mark the launch, GMKtec is offering an introductory discount of $200 on all models. Pricing begins at $409.99 for the barebone model, while pre-configured systems are priced at $549.99 for 32 GB RAM with 1 TB SSD and $609.99 for 64 GB RAM with 1 TB SSD. The Mini PC is available with US, EU, UK, JP, and AU power plug options, with a dedicated EU store providing faster delivery and local customer service for European buyers.

The NucBox K12 brings workstation-level specifications into a compact form factor, making it suitable for users with limited desk space who still require modern performance. Its combination of Zen 4 CPU power, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and high-capacity expandability positions it as a competitive choice in the growing Mini PC market.
