MINISFORUM Launches New Mercury Series Ultra-Compact Mini PCs with Ryzen 7 7840U Phoenix APU

MINISFORUM unveiled its latest mini PC offerings, the UM790 Pro and UM780 Pro, powered by the AMD Ryzen 7040HS series processors. However, the company did not disclose the pricing and availability details during the recent product launch event. In addition to these models, MINISFORUM also introduced the new Mercury series Smalles Mini PCs, featuring the AMD Ryzen R7 7840U processor.

The Mercury series stands out for its compact and highly portable design, with a volume measuring only 1/4 liter. Upon examining the provided diagram, it becomes apparent that the rear interface of the device offers convenient connectivity options. It includes HDMI, USB-C, and two USB-A interfaces, allowing users to easily connect and interface with various external devices and peripherals.

The R7 7840U processor, which is connected to IT Home, possesses the following specifications: it utilizes the Zen4 architecture and is manufactured using the 4nm FinFET process. The processor features 8 cores and 16 threads, allowing for efficient multitasking. Its frequency can reach up to 5.1GHz, providing substantial processing power. The processor also incorporates 8MB of L2 cache and 16MB of L3 cache, enhancing its data retrieval capabilities. Additionally, the R7 7840U incorporates a Radeon 780M core display, which comprises 12 compute units (CUs) and operates at a frequency of 2700MHz.
