Acer has officially revealed the first pricing details for its upcoming Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld, giving consumers a clearer picture of what to expect before the device reaches stores later this year. The company has updated its UK Predator Atlas 8 product page with all available hardware configurations and pricing, while also allowing interested buyers to register for updates ahead of launch. The listing confirms that the premium handheld will start at £999.99, making it one of the most expensive Windows gaming handhelds announced so far.

The Predator Atlas 8 was first introduced during Computex 2026, where Acer showcased the device alongside Intel's latest Panther Lake platform and the new Arc G3 graphics architecture. Although pricing was not announced during the event, the hardware specifications suggested that Acer was targeting the high-end portable gaming market. The newly published UK pricing now confirms that expectation.

The entry-level Predator Atlas 8 features Intel's standard Arc G3 processor, combining 14 Panther Lake CPU cores with Arc B370 integrated graphics. The graphics processor includes 10 Xe cores and 1,280 shader cores, while the CPU is built with two Performance cores, eight Efficiency cores, and four Low-Power Efficiency cores. This configuration comes equipped with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD and is priced at £999.99.

Buyers who need additional memory can choose a second Arc G3 model featuring 24GB of RAM while retaining the same processor and storage capacity. This version carries a retail price of £1,099.99.

For users looking for stronger graphics performance, Acer will also offer two Predator Atlas 8 models powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor. These versions upgrade to Arc B390 integrated graphics, increasing the GPU to 12 Xe cores and 1,560 shader cores. The Arc G3 Extreme model with 16GB of memory is priced at £1,299.99, while the flagship configuration includes 32GB of RAM and costs £1,499.99. Every model ships with a 512GB SSD.

Although the UK prices translate into higher figures when converted directly into US dollars, Acer has previously used different pricing strategies between regions. One recent example is the Acer Nitro V ANV15-52 gaming laptop, which is priced at £1,049 in the UK but sells for $1,199.49 in the United States. If Acer follows a similar approach, the Predator Atlas 8 could arrive in North America at a lower price than a direct currency conversion would suggest. Industry expectations place the base model somewhere between $1,100 and $1,200, although Acer has not announced official US pricing.

The Predator Atlas 8 is designed for gamers who want desktop-class Windows gaming in a portable form factor. By combining Intel's latest Panther Lake processors with the new Arc G3 graphics architecture, Acer is aiming to compete in the growing premium handheld gaming segment. The device offers multiple memory options while maintaining the same storage capacity across the lineup, giving buyers flexibility based on performance needs and budget.

According to Acer's latest product listing, the Predator Atlas 8 is scheduled to launch during Autumn 2026, placing its release between September and December. More information regarding global availability, regional pricing, and retail availability is expected to be announced as Acer moves closer to launch.
