AOOSTAR Introduces MACO Mini PC with Ryzen 7 Processor Options
AOOSTAR has introduced the MACO Mini PC, the first product in its 12th anniversary series. Unlike the company’s earlier designs, the MACO adopts a rounded, minimalist approach with a silver-white CNC-milled aluminum alloy chassis. With dimensions of 150 × 130 × 55 mm and a volume under 1.1 liters, it is among the most compact systems the company has produced.
Hardware and Cooling
The MACO Mini PC is offered with two processor options: the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS and the Ryzen 7 H 255. To support these processors in a compact form factor, AOOSTAR has implemented its new “glacier system” cooling solution, which combines a vapor chamber heat sink with a PWM-controlled turbo fan. This design is intended to maintain stable performance while keeping temperatures under control during extended workloads.
Memory and Storage
Inside the system, users will find:
l 2× DDR5 SO-DIMM slots for high-speed memory
l 2× M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 ×4 NVMe slots for fast SSD storage
l 1× wireless network card slot for connectivity expansion
These upgrade options provide flexibility for different use cases, from productivity setups to compact gaming systems.
Connectivity and I/O
The external connections are arranged across multiple sides of the chassis:
l Top: Power button with integrated fingerprint reader supporting Windows Hello
l Front: 1× audio jack, 2× USB-A 3.X, 1× USB-C (40 Gbps)
l Back: 1× power input, 1× USB-C (40 Gbps), 2× RJ45 2.5 GbE ports, 1× DisplayPort, 1× HDMI, 2× USB-A (480 Mbps)
l Left side: OCuLink interface with independent PCIe channel and a protective dust cover
This selection provides a mix of modern high-speed ports and traditional connectivity options. The OCuLink interface in particular allows external GPU expansion, offering additional flexibility for users who want more graphics power.
Availability and Pricing
The AOOSTAR MACO Mini PC barebone configurations are priced at 1,999 yuan (approx. USD $275) for the Ryzen 7 H 255 version and 2,299 yuan (approx. USD $315) for the Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS version. The product will officially go on sale on August 8 at 10:00 (local time).
With its compact size, updated design, and modern AMD hardware, the MACO Mini PC is positioned for professionals, home users, and enthusiasts who need performance in a small footprint.
