MINISFORUM Introduces NAB3R Mini PC With Core i3-1220P and Quad-Display Support
MINISFORUM has expanded its compact desktop series with the introduction of the NAB3R mini PC in overseas markets. This model is positioned in the mid-to-low segment and aims to provide a practical solution for users who need a small computer for daily tasks, office work, and media consumption. The company continues to develop devices that focus on efficiency, size, and connectivity, and the NAB3R follows the same direction.

The NAB3R runs on Intel’s Core i3-1220P processor, a 2022 release built on a hybrid design featuring two performance cores and eight efficiency cores, reaching up to 4.4GHz under turbo. It isn’t part of the latest CPU lineup, but it remains practical for everyday tasks like web browsing, office work, and media consumption. The chip also manages light multitasking reliably, making it suitable for typical home or office use.

The system includes 16GB of memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. While the storage capacity is modest, it covers general needs comfortably, and users have the option to upgrade if they require more space.
In terms of ports, the NAB3R keeps its focus on essential connectivity. It does not offer USB4, Thunderbolt, or OCuLink, which means it is not designed for external GPU setups or high-bandwidth expansion. However, the rear panel includes two HDMI ports and two USB Type-C ports, with one Type-C dedicated to video output. This configuration allows the system to support up to four monitors at the same time. Multi-display output can benefit users who work with data dashboards, office applications, or extended workloads that require multiple windows open simultaneously.

The device also integrates four USB 3.2 Type-A ports for peripherals such as external drives, keyboards, and other accessories. One of the notable features of the NAB3R is the presence of two 2.5G Ethernet ports. This dual LAN setup expands the mini PC’s potential use cases. Even after it reaches the end of its role as a daily system, it can function as a small NAS, a network appliance, or a compact home server. For wireless connections, the mini PC supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, offering stable and modern wireless standards.

Overall, the MINISFORUM NAB3R offers a balanced feature set for its category. Its processor, memory, and storage configuration suit everyday computing needs, while its quad-display support and dual high-speed Ethernet ports widen its usefulness beyond common mini PC roles. It provides a compact option for home offices, multitasking workstations, and small business environments that require efficient space management and solid connectivity.
