MINISFORUM has released new promotional materials highlighting its upcoming G1 and G1 Pro gaming Mini PCs, which are set to appear at the Japan IT Week Autumn 2025 exhibition. The new models represent the company’s continued effort to deliver high-performance computing in compact enclosures, combining desktop-level components with a space-saving design aimed at gamers, creators, and professionals.

The G1 and G1 Pro share the same external dimensions, measuring 216 × 57.2 × 315 mm, giving each a total volume of approximately 3.9 liters. Despite their compact form factor, both models integrate a 350W built-in power supply, allowing them to handle powerful desktop hardware without requiring external adapters. Inside, MINISFORUM equips the units with AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HX or Ryzen 9 8940HX processors—both featuring 16 cores and 32 threads based on the Zen 4 “Dragon Range” architecture.

Graphics performance is delivered by a replaceable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB half-height desktop GPU with a 145W standard TDP. The removable GPU design allows users to replace or upgrade the graphics card in the future, providing greater longevity and flexibility compared to most prebuilt mini PCs.

The system memory options include two DDR5-5200 SODIMM slots, supporting dual-channel configurations for improved bandwidth. For storage, MINISFORUM provides two M.2 2280/2230 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe slots, enabling users to install fast solid-state drives for both system and data storage. Network connectivity is handled by a MediaTek MT7922 wireless module offering Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support, ensuring stable connections for both online gaming and wireless peripherals.

The front I/O includes two 10Gbps USB ports (one Type-A and one Type-C) and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. Around the back, users will find one 5GbE RJ45 port, two additional 10Gbps USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and one HDMI 2.1 output. The discrete GPU adds further connectivity with one HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 2.1, and one DisplayPort 1.4, allowing multi-monitor configurations suitable for gaming, content creation, or productivity use.

MINISFORUM’s decision to equip the G1 and G1 Pro with high-end desktop-grade graphics and processors demonstrates its focus on performance within small enclosures. The integrated power supply, efficient cooling system, and upgrade-friendly layout reflect the company’s experience in designing compact, capable systems for enthusiasts and professionals.

The MINISFORUM G1 and G1 Pro gaming Mini PCs are expected to become available by the end of November 2025, following their showcase at Japan IT Week Autumn 2025. Pricing and region-specific availability will likely be revealed closer to the launch date, as MINISFORUM prepares to expand its small form factor product lineup for global markets.
