NuPhy Introduces Air75 V3 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Long-Travel Switches and Extended Battery Life

NuPhy has officially launched the Air75 V3, the latest addition to its low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard lineup. This updated version brings a number of hardware improvements, including a redesigned key switch mechanism, revised internal structure, and extended battery life. The company has positioned the Air75 V3 as a significant update over its predecessor, the Air75 V2, targeting users who value portability without compromising on typing experience.

The Air75 V3 features Gateron Low-Profile 3.0 switches, which deliver a longer total travel distance of 3.5mm. These switches were first seen in NuPhy's Kick75 and are now implemented here to enhance overall feel. They work in tandem with a newly introduced gasket mounting structure designed to improve key press consistency and reduce noise. Together, these refinements help create a smoother and softer typing response compared to previous versions.

The keyboard maintains a slim profile, with a nominal front height of 13.2mm. Keycaps are made from two-color injection-molded PBT and use NuPhy’s proprietary nSA profile, optimized for low-profile switches. The body of the Air75 V3 has also been structurally reworked, utilizing new materials that enhance overall rigidity while keeping the device lightweight and portable.

In terms of connectivity, the Air75 V3 supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C wired. This flexibility allows the keyboard to be used across multiple devices and platforms. The 4000mAh built-in battery is one of the most notable features, with NuPhy claiming a battery life of up to 1,200 hours when used without backlighting. When the RGB lighting is enabled, the battery life is expected to range between 60 and 100 hours depending on brightness and effects.

Additional features include a battery indicator light, hot-swappable knobs, and support for firmware updates via the NuPhy Console software. The keyboard also comes with pre-lubed stabilizers and optional accessories such as carrying cases and alternate keycap sets.

The Air75 V3 is priced at $139.95 and will be available for pre-order on NuPhy’s official website before July 10. The release reflects NuPhy’s ongoing efforts to expand its low-profile mechanical keyboard lineup while continuing to refine the user experience based on community feedback and industry trends.
