TUXEDO Computers, a company known for its Linux-optimized hardware, officially launched the Nano Pro - Gen14 Mini PC. This compact desktop system features the latest AMD "Krackan Point" processor and has been designed to offer full support for Linux-based operating systems.

While most Mini PCs on the market today are still primarily built around Windows platforms, the Nano Pro - Gen14 takes a different approach by offering compatibility with both standard Ubuntu and TUXEDO OS. The latter is a customized Linux distribution developed by TUXEDO Computers to ensure hardware optimization and long-term software stability for its systems.

The Nano Pro - Gen14 is designed with a compact form factor, measuring 110 × 117.5 × 49 mm and weighing approximately 1 kilogram. With a total volume of just 0.63 liters, it is aimed at users who need space-saving desktop performance without compromising on hardware expandability or Linux compatibility.

Inside, the device supports two DDR5 SO-DIMM memory slots, offering faster memory access and efficiency. For storage, it includes one M.2 2280/2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and an additional M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, giving users flexibility to configure fast NVMe SSDs in various form factors. These specifications position the Nano Pro - Gen14 as a capable compact workstation or personal computing device for Linux users.

Network connectivity is another area where TUXEDO has added flexibility. The system includes dual wired Ethernet ports: one Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and one RTL8111H 1 Gigabit Ethernet, making it suitable for advanced networking tasks such as virtualization or acting as a small server. The wireless module is the AMD RZ608 (MediaTek MT7921K), which provides support for Wi-Fi 6E (80 MHz) and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring compatibility with current wireless standards.

The I/O layout includes a range of ports for both productivity and peripheral support. On the front, the system offers two USB4 Type-C ports, one USB-A 10Gbps port, a combination audio jack, and the power button. The rear panel houses the DC-in power port, two additional USB-A 10Gbps ports, dual HDMI 2.1 outputs, two RJ45 network ports, and a security lock slot.

With the launch of the Nano Pro - Gen14, TUXEDO Computers continues to expand its lineup of Linux-ready hardware, catering to users who require reliable performance in a small footprint while prioritizing open-source compatibility.
