Xiaomi’s Redmi Product Manager has shared an early look at what appears to be a new gaming accessory developed in partnership with GameSir. The post showed the Redmi K90 Pro Max being used on an airplane to play a PC game through its built-in game engine, paired with a controller that has not yet been officially released.

The shared image quickly attracted attention from Redmi fans and gaming enthusiasts, as it showed a controller design that was not part of GameSir’s current lineup. When questioned about the accessory, the Product Manager confirmed that it was an unreleased GameSir product customized specifically for the Redmi K90 Pro Max. She added that this particular version featured a denim blue color scheme created for testing and demonstration purposes, offering a visual distinction from GameSir’s standard color options.

In her post, the Product Manager mentioned that the Redmi K90 series supports mainstream control mapping and multiple input modes. The devices are compatible with both extendable handle-style controllers and traditional palm grips, allowing players to choose their preferred setup. In addition, the phones also support keyboard and mouse configurations for users who prefer a desktop-style gaming experience.

The Redmi K90 series includes full touchscreen operation capabilities with adaptive button mapping and vibration feedback. This enables the phone to deliver tactile responses during gameplay, bringing the experience closer to that of a console or PC. The phone’s integrated PC game engine is designed to run popular titles efficiently, giving users flexibility to play directly on the device without external hardware.

Although GameSir has yet to make an official announcement about the new controller, the Redmi Product Manager’s statement suggests that a formal release is planned. The upcoming model is expected to feature compatibility with the Redmi K90 series’ PC game engine and may include design elements exclusive to the Redmi lineup.

The collaboration between Redmi and GameSir appears focused on enhancing the gaming experience for mobile users by providing better hardware integration and software optimization. As gaming continues to be a major focus for smartphone manufacturers, accessories like this controller could further expand the capabilities of high-performance devices such as the K90 Pro Max.

More information, including specifications, pricing, and release details, is likely to be revealed once GameSir officially launches the controller. For now, the teaser highlights Redmi’s ongoing effort to improve its gaming ecosystem and strengthen its presence in the performance-driven mobile gaming market.
