GravaStar has announced its new Mercury Edge gaming headset series, bringing 53mm dynamic drivers, wireless audio connectivity, and RGB lighting to three models targeting different types of gamers. The lineup consists of the Mercury Edge Pro, Mercury Edge, and Mercury Edge Lite, with the flagship model offering THX Spatial Audio, active noise cancellation (ANC), and simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth audio mixing. Prices start at $99.95, while the top-end Mercury Edge Pro costs $179.95.

The Mercury Edge Pro is designed for gamers who want more control over positional audio and multiple connected devices. It supports THX Spatial Audio with virtual 7.1.4 surround sound on compatible Windows 11 PCs, helping players identify the direction and movement of in-game sounds. The headset also features Active Noise Cancellation capable of reducing environmental noise by up to 34dB, making it suitable for gaming in noisier surroundings.

For voice communication, GravaStar includes a detachable unidirectional microphone with ENC call noise reduction. One of the more useful features is its ability to mix 2.4GHz and Bluetooth audio simultaneously. Players can listen to game audio through the low-latency 2.4GHz connection while remaining connected to a smartphone for calls or other Bluetooth audio. GravaStar claims approximately 20ms latency over 2.4GHz, while Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C provide additional connectivity options.

All three headsets use 53mm dynamic drivers, but the Mercury Edge Pro receives a more detailed driver configuration with CCAW voice coils, neodymium magnets, and PU composite diaphragms. Compatible PC software provides access to equalizer settings, THX features, spatial audio controls, and RGB customization.

The standard Mercury Edge targets users who want wireless connectivity and longer battery life without the additional features of the Pro model. It supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB-C, alongside software-based virtual 7.1 surround sound and a detachable ENC microphone. Its 2,000mAh battery is designed for extended wireless use, while PC software allows users to adjust EQ, surround sound, and lighting settings.

The Mercury Edge Lite takes a different approach by removing the battery and wireless connectivity in favor of a direct USB-C connection. It retains the 53mm dynamic drivers, software-based virtual 7.1 surround sound, and detachable ENC microphone. This makes it the entry-level option for users who prefer a wired headset without worrying about charging or battery life.

GravaStar has also given the Mercury Edge series its familiar sci-fi-inspired appearance. The headsets feature a skeletal architecture-inspired design with sculpted earcups, flowing contours, polished transitions, and seven-color RGB lighting. Memory foam cushions, 90-degree rotating earcups, and a sliding headband are included across the lineup to provide an adjustable over-ear fit.

Yong Huang, Founder and CEO of GravaStar, said, "Mercury Edge reflects how differently people play." He added that the Pro model brings together the company's advanced spatial audio, noise control, and multi-device features, while the other two versions offer different choices based on connectivity, endurance, and simplicity.

The GravaStar Mercury Edge Series opened for pre-orders on October 29, 2026, through the company's official website. The Mercury Edge Pro is priced at $179.95, followed by the standard Mercury Edge at $139.95 and the Mercury Edge Lite at $99.95. All three models initially launch in black, with additional color options planned for the future.
