OneXPlayer has launched the X2, a new PC gaming handheld that combines a large display, detachable controllers, and desktop-level hardware in a portable design. The new model is built for gaming and productivity, featuring an Intel G3 Extreme processor, up to 48GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 1TB SSD storage.

The OneXPlayer X2 continues the company’s detachable controller approach, giving users the option to use it as a handheld gaming device or a compact PC. The controller system includes Hall effect electromagnetic joysticks and triggers, which provide more accurate input and help reduce long-term wear issues. The device also comes with mechanical micro-switch shoulder buttons, detachable keycap D-Pad buttons, and two customizable rear buttons.

The device features a large display that provides more screen space for gaming, media playback, and regular PC use. The high-resolution panel delivers clear visuals, while stylus support gives users additional options for drawing, writing notes, and handling creative tasks.

For cooling, OneXPlayer uses a liquid bearing fan combined with a dual pure copper heat pipe system. The handheld supports up to 35W TDP performance output, allowing the processor to run at higher power levels when needed. According to OneXPlayer, the device can deliver up to 14 hours of office usage based on PCMark benchmark testing.

The connectivity options include two USB4 ports, one USB-A 3.X port, a microSD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint recognition module. These ports make it easier to connect external storage, accessories, and displays.

Key features of the OneXPlayer X2 include:

l 10.95-inch TCL CSOT LTPS LCD display

l 2560×1600 resolution with 120Hz refresh rate

l 540 nits peak brightness

l 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage

l Support for 4096-level pressure-sensitive stylus input

l Intel G3 Extreme processor

l Up to 48GB LPDDR5X memory

l 1TB SSD storage

l Detachable controller design

The OneXPlayer X2 enters the handheld PC market with a focus on a larger screen, flexible controls, and stronger hardware. With its combination of gaming features and PC functionality, the device is aimed at users looking for a portable system that can handle both entertainment and daily computing tasks.
